  2.      SceneCopy is a Shell utility which allows you to convert older Caligari
  3. files to the newest Caligari file format, Version 13, which is compatible
  4. with Caligari Professional V1.2 and Caligari Broadcast V1.2. SceneCopy can
  5. also compress existing Caligari Version 13 files, removing deleted objects.

  7.      The syntax for SceneCopy is:

  9.      SceneCopy input-file output-file
  10.  
  11.      Note that the scene's .IDX and .DAT files are treated as one file, no
  12. extensions are needed on the command line.

  14.      If you have Caligari Version 0.9 files, use SceneCopy09 on the file
  15. first, then SceneCopy.
  16.  
  17.      If a Caligari file becomes corrupted due to a system error, you may
  18. have mysterious problems with Caligari.  Scenecopy can help!  Running a
  19. scene through SceneCopy may show you where the error is occurring.
  20. Unfortunately, corrupted files are unreadable, so back up your work
  21. frequently.

  23.      If mysterious crashes continue, delete the "CalData:calconfig.sys" 
  24. file, and the "Caligari:NEW_SCENE.DAT" and ".IDX" files, they will be
  25. created again when you next run Caligari Professional.
